Product Description

The Gold Standard in Precision Guidance & Steering

The NAV 960 is PTx Trimble’s most advanced GNSS receiver and guidance controller. Engineered for maximum uptime and unmatched accuracy, it is the powerhouse behind the GFX display range, designed to handle the most demanding agricultural environments in Ireland.

Why Upgrade to the NAV 960?

1. Unrivalled Satellite Tracking

Equipped with an enhanced GNSS engine, the NAV 960 tracks more satellites across more constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS).

  • The Irish Advantage: This means fewer signal drops near tall treelines, glens, or farm buildings—ensuring you stay online when it matters most.

2. 16x More Processing Power

With a processor 16 times more powerful than previous generations, the NAV-960 delivers faster boot times and rapid calculations. It is purpose-built to handle high-demand applications like:

  • Advanced Autopilot™ steering

  • Variable Rate Application

  • Water Management and Land Forming

3. IonoGuard™ Technology

Solar activity can often interfere with GNSS signals. The NAV 960 features embedded IonoGuard™ technology, which stabilises your connection during solar events, providing industry-leading uptime and reliability even in challenging atmospheric conditions.

4. Rugged “Irish-Weather” Design

Built with a solid aluminium base and an IP66 rating, the NAV 960 is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. Whether it’s the searing heat of a rare Irish summer or a standard winter downpour, this controller is built to last.
