We are part of the Grasstec Group based in Mallow, Co Cork., and are committed to providing the best and latest technology from Trimble to allow farmers to maximise efficiencies and make the best use of resources.
Due to continued growth & expansion, we are seeking to employ an installation technician initially on a contract basis to assist with our existing installation team. Ideally based in the South East of Ireland. This role could become a full-time position subject to sufficient work and having the right candidate
The Role:
- Install guidance & control equipment into tractors & self-propelled machines
- Calibration of guidance systems
- Provide basic training to end-user
- Troubleshoot basic issues during installation
- Nationwide travel
The Candidate:
- Strong interest & knowledge in agricultural machinery and Precision Farming, especially for arable & root crops
- Knowledge of GPS Guidance Systems
- 3 years of fitting experience
- High attention to detail with equipment to be fitted as “factory fit appearance”
- 12 volt wiring knowledge
- Basic hydraulic knowledge
- Computer literate
- Own transport & general tools
- Coming from a Farming background is essential
